Join David for a wonderful driving tour of Hopetoun House, Midhope Castle, Blackness Castle, Linlithgow Palace, South Queensferry and the magnificent Forth Bridges. If you’d like to have some fish n’ chips in South Queensferry at the end of your tour this can be arranged.

David will guide you around every location, explaining its history and all his favourite stories from the attractions. He’ll also share with you all his top photography tips and take photos of you in each location as a souvenir of your visit. There will be a complimentary coffee\tea break at Hopetoun House which is included in the price.

Please note that lunch and admission fees are not included in this tour. This can be arranged separately on request, at time of booking.

Our SUV vehicle is very comfortable, air-conditioned and fully-insured. Complimentary water, tissues & chocolate is provided.

What’s Included

• Vehicle and tour-guide for a 7.5 Hour driving tour, from 11am to 6.30pm (approximately)

• Pick-up and drop-off back to your Edinburgh Hotel

• We’ll explore Hopetoun House, Midhope Castle, Blackness Castle, Linlithgow Palace, South Queensferry and the magnificent Forth Bridges

• David will guide & explain the history of all the locations, notable residents & stories along the way

• David will pass on all his best photography locations/spots and tips for taking better pictures

• David will take portraits of you, in each of the locations, as a souvenir of your visit

• We’ll stop for a complimentary coffee n’ cake in the Adams Stables cafe at Hopetoun House

Price & Duration

£350 - for a Private group tour of up to 3 people.

This driving tour lasts around 7.5 hours. We will pick you up from your Edinburgh hotel at 11am and return you back to your hotel at around 6.30pm the same day.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your tour up to 24 hours in advance and receive a full refund.

If the event of cancellation due to bad weather you may rebook or receive a full refund.

We will only cancel a tour due to extreme weather or where there may be safety issues.

Recommendations

• A reasonable level of fitness is required for walking through these attractions. It can be easily managed by anyone in reasonable good health.

• Not recommended for pregnant travellers, those with heart problems or other serious medical or foot-related problems.

• Please bring comfortable walking shoes and a sun-hat and water during the summer. In the winter it’s recommended to wear warm layers, a waterproof jacket, hat, gloves and waterproof footwear.
