Private Beginners Photography Course Content - Edinburgh & Glasgow

Suitable for all cameras with Manual Mode, but particularly DSLR’s and Mirrorless cameras. Don’t worry if the recipient doesn’t have a camera, we can supply them for free on the day.
This course can be taken in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The gift recipient just needs to email to telephone us to arrange a suitable date.
This is a full beginner’s photography course, taught by David Wheater, and includes the following:
Understanding your camera’s settings & shooting modes
Understanding lenses & focal length
Shutter Speeds for capturing movement & different scenes
Aperture Settings for exposure and depth of field
Controlling exposure in Manual Mode & Semi Automatic modes
Composition & Perspective
Creative tips and the importance of observation and emotions in meaningful photography
Course Duration
4 Hours + Complimentary coffee break + Course notes + Photo review
Date & Time of Course
Courses run 12pm-4pm on a date of your choice (subject to availability). If you would like a different start time, please let me know.
Course Locations
Courses can be held In Edinburgh or Glasgow in the Botanic Gardens or in the city centres, whichever is more convenient.
